Meeting between Deuba, Oli and Prachanda, Oli's request to help in Jhapa
Kathmandu. A meeting was held between the current Chairman of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba, Chairman of CPN-UML KP Sharma Oli and Coordinator of Nepali Communist Party Pushpa Kamal Dahar Prachand. Sources say the meeting took place on Sunday.
Sher Bahadur Deuba is not a candidate in the upcoming elections, but Oli and Prachanda are candidates. In this meeting, it is said that mainly KP Sharma Oli asked for help from Deuba and Prachanda. According to sources, Oli had asked for assistance in his own constituency Jhapa 5.
It is said that the main topic of the leaders' meeting was the election. Oli asked for help especially in Jhapa and Dang. Oli himself is a candidate in Jhapa, while his confidant general secretary Shankar Pokharel is a candidate in Dang.
