Kathmandu. France registered a thrilling victory over Senegal in the FIFA World Cup football tournament in Group I. France defeated Senegal with a margin of 3.1 goals in the match held at the New Jersey Stadium in New York, USA. Although the first half of the competitive match ended in a tie, in the second half both teams played aggressively and scored a total of four goals.
In the 66th minute of the game, the star player of France, Kylian Mbappe, scored the first goal and gave the team the initial lead. Then, in the 82nd minute of the game, Bradley Barcola added another goal to double France's lead.
In the extra time of the second half, Senegal's Ibrahim Mbaye scored a consolation goal to bring the game to 2-1, but it was not enough. Immediately after that, in the next minute, Mbappe scored a personal second goal for France and ensured the victory of the team by 3.1.
