Kathmandu. France captain and star striker Kylian Mbappe has set a new record for scoring the most goals in the FIFA World Cup knockout stage.
With a unique performance in the ongoing World Cup 2026, he has achieved this historic success, surpassing the old giants of world football. Mbappe has scored 11 goals in just 10 matches in the knockout stages of the World Cup. Previously, this record was held by Brazilian legends Ronaldo Nazario and Leonidas with a combined 8.8 goals.
