Limitation of expenditure to candidates by Commission

Kathmandu. Only the candidates from different 26 constituencies will be allowed to spend a maximum of 33 lakhs in the election of members of the House of Representatives scheduled for February 21st. According to the Election Commission, they will be allowed to spend the most in Taplejung, Panchthar, Sankhuwasabha, Solukhumbu, Khotang, Dolakha and Ramechhap.
Similarly, candidates from both constituencies of Kavrepalanchok, two from Makwanpur, one from Gorkha, one from Lamjung, Arghakhanchi, Rolpa, Pyuthan, one from Dang, two from Bardia, Salyan, Dolpa, Humla, Jajarkot, Bajhang, Doti and Baitadi will be allowed to spend 33 lakhs. According to the commission, the expenditure limit is higher than elsewhere based on geographical severity.
The Commission has arranged that the minimum amount of 2.5 million can be spent in the constituencies of Sugam district. It is arranged that only the candidates of five constituencies will be allowed to spend the least amount. Those constituencies are Kathmandu 1, 3, 6, 7 and 8.
Similarly, the candidates from Tehrathum, Parsa 1, 2 and 3, Rasuwa Kathmandu 2, 4, 5, 9, 10, Lalitpur 1 and 2 Manang, Kaski 2 and Rukum East will be allowed to spend 2.7 million. Similarly, candidates from 65 constituencies will be allowed to spend Rs. 29 lakhs.
