Let Democracy Day help achieve the national goal of prosperity: President Paudel

Kathmandu. President Ramchandra Paudel has expressed his hope that the Democracy Day will help in achieving the national goals of sustainable peace, good governance, development and prosperity. Expressing his greetings on the occasion of National Democracy Day, 2082 on Thursday, President Paudel expressed his respect to all those who contributed to the various movements for Nepal's sovereignty, geographical integrity, national interest, self-respect and democracy.
He wished that the Democracy Day would help in achieving the national goals of sustainable peace, good governance, development and prosperity. It is said in the greeting message, "I pay emotional tribute to all the known (unknown) martyrs who sacrificed their precious lives in the many struggles for the establishment of democracy.
President Paudel mentioned that it is everyone's common responsibility to make the election of members of the House of Representatives, which will be held on February 21, a success, in order to find the way for the constitution, democracy and good governance desired by the people, and appealed to everyone to contribute to it.
