Chitwan. Dhurmussuntali Foundation has started construction in Bharatpur and abandoned it in the middle. Bharatpur Metropolitan Municipality has faced a legal hurdle to pay the Gautam Budh International Cricket Stadium. The Metropolitan Corporation has made it clear that even though the federal government allocated a budget of Rs.

Chief Administrative Officer of Bharatpur Metropolitan City Lakshmi Prasad Paudel said that the federal government has arranged a budget of Rs. According to him, funds have been allocated under the title of purchase of created property and the amount allocated in this way can only be spent in accordance with the Public Procurement Act.

Chief administrative officer Paudel said that if the budget was manaaged as a grant, it would have been easier to pay the metropolis, and he said that the construction of the stadium was not done according to the Public Procurement Act, so there was political confusion on how to pay the money. He said, "This matter has become complicated because the foundation is not a registered organization for value added tax and VAT and according to the Public Procurement Act, VAT has to be paid when paying the amount."

At the time of construction, the Metropolitan Corporation gave funds to the foundation as a grant. Poudel said that at that time, the metropolis had made its own funds and made the payment by itself, but now the funds from the association can only be paid according to the federal procedures. He said, "Earlier we could give the foundation a budget, but now there is a question of Rs. Now is the federal budget. Payment should be made only within the framework of federal laws, laws and procedures.

He informed that they have written to the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Sports under the federal government to be more clear on this matter, but they have received a reply from both organizations that no further opinion is required. The metropolis wrote a letter to the Ministry of Finance on 21st November to get more clarity on this issue. To which the ministry has sent a reply on October 24th. Likewise, the metropolis again wrote to the Ministry of Sports on 28th October. The Ministry of Sports replied on 30th October.
