Mahendranagar. Due to the recent increase in the price of petroleum products and problems in supply, the work of large development projects in the Far West has been affected. It is said that although the builders are working with the fuel they have available, they are facing problems in advancing the project due to the increase in the price of fuel and the shortage. Ramkumar Dev, the project head, said that the work of the Seti Highway South Section Tikapur-Lode-Chainpur-Taklakot road project here has come to a halt.
"The remaining fuel with the builders has run out and now the work has stopped," he said, "the big equipment used to open the track has also stopped." Under the project, 35 km track is yet to be opened. So far, a total of ten kilometers section has been tarred. Under the project, various packages are being worked on in Doti, Achham and Kailali, the project head Dev informed.
