Kathmandu. Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Kulman Ghising has expressed his happiness after the obstruction caused by the locals at Bancharedanda waste disposal site in Kathmandu Valley has been removed. The discussion between the government and the locals of Bancharedanda which was held at Singhdarbar on Thursday ended with an agreement on 11 points. Minister Ghising expressed his gratitude to all those who supported and helped to remove the obstacles. He wrote on the social network - 'The obstruction in the disposal of garbage in Bachare Danda in Kathmandu Valley has been withdrawn after the 11-point agreement. Thank you to everyone who helped and facilitated the removal of obstacles.
According to the agreement between the government and the local people, the local people will be immediately decided and corresponded about the issues that have been tried in the past, the consultant company will be written to prepare the EIA report quickly, and the written commitment will also be taken. It has been agreed to advance the work of allocating the necessary budget for the land audit according to the EIA report in the budget.
Similarly, an agreement has been reached for the residents of Banchare Danda to immediately write to the Kathmandu Metropolitan City to compensate them for their houses and crops for the year 2082 and 83.
