Krishnabhir Landslide: Temporary track to be opened within 15 days, appeal to use alternate route
Kathmandu. Muglin Naubise section of Prithvi Highway has been completely blocked due to a huge landslide in Krishnabhir in Dhading. After Trishuli river eroded the land under the road, the vehicles going to West Nepal including Chitwan, Tanahun, Kaski via Kathmandu and Dhading were stranded.
After the highway was blocked, the road department has requested to use Tribhuvan Rajpath and Kanti Rajpath as alternative routes for the time being.
According to Deputy Director General and Spokesperson of the Road Department, Shubraj Neupane, although the road is somewhat narrow, even large vehicles can be operated from the Tribhuvan Rajpath.
