KP Oli responsible for the incident of August 23: Ishwar Pokharel

Kathmandu. CPN-UML leader Ishwar Pokharel has claimed that party president KP Oli is the main person responsible for the incident on August 23. Addressing the thanksgiving gathering of his panel held at Karki Banquet, Pokharel said, "We reject partition, but we do not accept surrender." He raised questions on the statement of party president Oli and added, "What I say is what I say, even when UML hears it, it becomes angry." What does this mean if I don't exist then UML doesn't exist?

Leaders and workers who fought from the Pokharel panel participated in the gathering. Vice President Gokarna Bista and Deputy Secretary General Yogesh Bhattarai, who won from the panel, also participated. It is reported that the Pokharel group, which fought with KP Oli with the support of former President Bidya Bhandari, did not bring the expected results, and today they are engaged in internal discussions.
