Khadka's final plan to stop the Congress special convention
Kathmandu. Acting Chairman of Nepali Congress Purna Bahadur Khadka has said that he will not allow the situation of a special convention to be held in the party. In a meeting with 25 central members of the founding group within the Congress on Friday morning, Khadka made it clear that he would not allow the environment for the process of the special convention to proceed in accordance with the signatures submitted by the convention delegates.
Central member Uday Shamsher Rana, who participated in the meeting, informed that Khadka, the Acting Chairman, said that after verifying the signatures of convention representatives, the acting chairman Khadka would not allow a special convention to take place. A few days ago, 25 central members of the founding group registered 7 points of demand at the party central office. To increase the pressure of those demands, they are currently meeting from the chairman to the officials. At the same time, they met Khadka on Friday morning and warned that the party may be pushed to the bottom if the special convention starts.
