Kathmandu's temples and Shaktipeeth are decorated with twinkling lights
Kathmandu. As the festival of Dasain, Tihar etc. increases, various monasteries and Shaktipeeths of Kathmandu Valley are decorated with twinkling lights. The beauty of the religious place has been added by decorating the temple complex to the surrounding streets with lights of different colors to make the festival a time of celebration. As evening falls, the movement of devotees who come for darshan and worship at the temple lit up with twinkling lights has also started to increase.
The attractive decorations made in the major temples of Kathmandu such as Maitidevi, Naxal Bhagwati and others have made the religious area more beautiful. Although devotees come for pujas throughout the day, in the evening the number of people visiting the temple in the light of lamps, having darshan of gods and goddesses and spending time with family and relatives has increased. The temple complex decorated with twinkling lights has started to be seen as a symbol of festive joy and religious faith.
