Kathmandu. Karnali state government has decided to give six more public holidays in the coming year 2083. Chief Minister and Cabinet Office, Karnali Province, Surkhet Birendranagar, Cabinet meeting held today decided to give six days of public holiday in 2083, Karnali Province Government Spokesperson and Minister of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives Vinod Kumar Shah informed.

"The state government has decided to give a public holiday on Chait 12th Paddy Day, October 22nd for the lingo carrying fair of Chandannath temple", he said, "although this is only for Jumla district. On June 15th National Paddy Day, public holidays have been given in nine districts of the province other than Jumla. There will be a public holiday throughout the state on Kojagrat Purnima.
