Journalists across the country should be added to the social security fund: Minister Kharel
Chitwan. Communications and Information Technology Minister Jagdish Kharel has said that journalists across the country should be linked to the Social Security Fund. Speaking after the inspection of Nepal Journalist Association Chitwan branch today, he said that now the government has started the work of connecting the journalists working in the government media to the social security fund.
He said that when entering the journalist's office, one feels like entering one's own home, adding that the Chitwan branch is better than other branches. He said that the current government will prepare some foundations to solve the problems of journalists. He said, "It is important to convey public welfare advertising in all media in the right way." During the inspection, Vasant Parajuli, president of Nepal Journalist Federation Chitwan Branch, informed Minister Kharel about the journalistic situation and challenges in the district. Minister Kharel met Nepal Television's Chitwan reporter Anil Dhakal who met with an accident while collecting news.
