Kathmandu. The Nepali Army has updated the statistics for the preparation of possible natural disasters during the upcoming rainy season. The Directorate of Public Relations and Information of the Army issued a statement on Monday clarifying the news about the demand for details of the squatters.

In view of he disaster incidents that occurred in the past years, the army is coordinating with the relevant agencies to reduce the risk of floods, landslides, inundation and river erosion that may occur during the rainy season, the statement said. With the aim of reducing human and material damage, the army has launched a pre-disaster preparation plan.
