Iran rejects 48-hour ceasefire offer
Kathmandu. Iran has rejected a 48-hour ceasefire proposal from the US. According to the semi-official Fars news agency, the proposal was sent to Tehran via a third country on Wednesday. But Iran has not accepted it. Meanwhile, Iran claimed to have shot down two US warplanes on Friday. One of them is an F-15E fighter jet and the other is an A-10 attack aircraft.
It is reported that the F-15 was attacked inside Iran. It has been reported that one crew member of the plane has been rescued, while another member is still missing. According to Iranian media, the A-10 plane crashed in the Persian Gulf region. However, US officials have said that it is not clear whether the plane crashed or was shot down.
