Intense discontent at the RSVP convention raised serious questions about the voting process and management

Main News Image

Chitwan. The first national convention of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RASP), which is claiming a new political culture, ended badly due to internal strife, managerial weaknesses and disputes over the voting process. Even though the convention which started in Chitwan's Bharatpur with the plan to complete it grandly within three days stretched to the fifth day, the issue of leadership selection has not been concluded yet.

The technical immaturity adopted by the party leadership during the voting, which did not finalize even the final list of representatives until the election process started, has made the convention more chaotic and difficult.
