Indiscriminate firing at a child and maternal welfare center in Germany kills six

Kathmandu. Six people were killed in an indiscriminate shooting at a child and maternal welfare center in the northern German city of Stade on Monday afternoon. According to the German police, a gunman committed the gruesome murder due to a dispute over the custody of his three-month-old daughter. Six employees, four women and two men, working in the welfare organization near Hamburg were shot dead. Some other people were also injured in the incident.

According to German officials, the three-month-old baby and his mother were inside the office at the time of the shooting, but they were not injured. The police, who were active immediately after the incident, arrested three people, including the main suspected gunman. The police have clarified that there is no security threat for the general public.
