Inruva.  43 gates of Koshi Barrage have been opened after the flow of water in Saptakoshi river has increased due to continuous rain since Wednesday night. According to the measurement at 6 am on Saturday, the flow of water in the river has reached 3 lakh 16 thousand 795 cusecs per second. As the water level rises above the danger level, 43 of the 56 gates of the barrage have been opened to prevent possible danger.

Earlier on Friday at 10 am, 25 gates were opened when the flow of water was 198,220 cusecs per second. After that, the flow continued to increase and after it reached 299,600 cusecs at 1 pm, 30 gates were opened and after it reached 240,555 cusecs at 2 pm, 31 gates were opened.
