Kathmandu. Activist Durga Prasain has warned the mayor of Kathmandu, Balendra Shah Balen, that if he comes to demolish the squatter's house, he will demolish his own house. Durga Prasai, head of Matrubhumi Bachau Abhiyaan, who announced the protest on November 7, said that Balen's attempt to demolish squatter settlements will not be successful. On Sunday morning, while holding a corner meeting in the squatter settlement of Manohara, Prasai reached Balen's house before the dozers of the city came to the squatter settlement and asked him to evacuate his wife and family.

Prasai said, "They taught us how to burn houses and evict people." If he comes to destroy you, you should go to his house. Take the wife out. If your child is taken out, his child is only a child or he will be destroyed as well. This government land does not belong to Balen's son-in-law and neither does it belong to Raju Pandey's son-in-law. The one who cheats should also cheat his wife.

Prasai, who announced the protest from November 7, also asked the squatters to participate in the protest. He said, 'Don't quit now, start preparing for November 7.' Prasai has also accused Victor Poudel of taking 20 million to make Bablu Gupta a minister along with Balen.

Stating that the parties have only created a vote bank for the squatters, he assured that he would not ask for votes but would help them get a solid house. He warned that he will address the entire party and Balen. The one-week ultimatum given by the metropolis to vacate the slums is ending today. Once the ultimatum expires, the metropolis plans to vacate the slums.
