In Nawalparasi East, 46,000 were vaccinated against Japanese encephalitis

Kathmandu. 46,778 people have been vaccinated so far under the special vaccination campaign against Japanese encephalitis in Nawalparasi Bardghat Sustapur. 19 thousand 109 males and 27 thousand 669 females were vaccinated.

Keshav Chapagain, Head of Provincial Public Health Office Nawalparasi Bardghat Susta East, said that significant progress has been seen in the campaign conducted simultaneously at all the eight local levels of the district and 31.1 percent of the target population had received vaccination services till Tuesday. Vaccination campaign is being conducted effectively across the district. The expected achievement was achieved in cooperation with the local level.

According to Public Health Officer Pravin Kumar Khanal, vaccination services are being conducted regularly at all local levels of the district. Especially in Madhyabindu Municipality and Boudikali Rural Municipality, the progress of vaccination has been remarkable. There has been 49.8 percent progress in midpoint and 47 percent progress in Boudikali.
