Kathmandu. The Argentine Football Federation AFA has announced a program to stop the game for one minute in the 10th minute of the first half of all football matches this week in honor of Lionel Messi, the star player of the national team.
In honor of Messi, who has announced his retirement from the national team for the second time, AFA has instructed to hold such a program in all divisions of men's and women's football as well as in other categories in the upcoming matches.
Messi, 39, announced his retirement from Argentina's national team on Monday. Earlier, he announced his retirement from international football in 2016. However, after intense pressure from supporters, he withdrew his decision and returned to the national team.
