Kathmandu.  At present, there is a change in the weather in Nepal due to the influence of the western low pressure system as well as the local air. In the hilly and mountainous regions of the country, including the Far West, it is now generally cloudy, while the weather in the rest of the region is mostly clear. Gandaki, Karnali and some places in the hilly areas of Far West and one or two places in the hilly areas of Lumbini, Bagmati and Koshi region are experiencing light rain and snow accompanied by thunder and lightning.

This afternoon, it will be generally cloudy in the Himalayan and hilly parts of the country and there is a possibility of partial cloudy in other areas. According to the Weather Forecast Division, there may be moderate rain and snowfall with thunder and lightning especially in some places of hilly and Himalayan areas.
