Impact of Monsoon over the country: Heavy rains are likely at some places in Koshi, Bagmati and Karnali

Kathmandu. At present, there is an active influence of Monsoon air across the country. According to the Department of Hydrometeorology, Weather Forecasting Division, Monsoon low pressure line is currently located around Sardar place.
Due to this, it is generally cloudy in Koshi, Madhes and Bagmati provinces and other Himalayan and hilly areas, while the weather is mostly clear in Terai region. At present, some places in Bagmati province and one or two places in Koshi, Madhes and Lumbini provinces are experiencing light rain with thunder.
