Ravi Lamichhane, chairman of Rashtriya Swatantra Party RSVP and former deputy prime minister, has said that the party will intervene if the government does not act according to its goals and promises. Commenting on the functioning and stability of the government, he made it clear that if the government deviates from the path, the political parties have the ability to control it and bring it back on the right path.
Chairman Lamichhane mentioned that the government has not yet failed and that they are careful not to let such a situation happen. Lamichhane, comparing the process of running the government to an air flight, asked not to be alarmed by the 'turbulence' or disruptions that sometimes arise from technical problems or external causes.
