Home Minister's activism in the border region to stop smuggling and drugs

Kathmandu.  In the meeting of the Federalism Strengthening and National Concerns Committee, Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has said that he has been regularly visiting the border checkpoints to make the security system effective in the southern border area.

Speaking at the meeting of the committee, Home Minister Gurung mentioned that the on-site inspection was carried out without giving prior information to the security agencies during the monitoring and said that this would make the agencies working in the border area more responsible and vigilant.
