High Himalayan region including Hilsa in Humla has increased snowfall and cold

Humla. It has been snowing continuously since Friday evening in the northern region of the Himalayan district Humla. This year's first snowfall occurred in high areas including Bazar Hilsa, Nyalu and Nara Lekh located in Namkha Rural Municipality-6.
According to Lamu Lama, a local who runs a hotel business in Hilsa, by Saturday morning, about one foot of snow has frozen in the Hilsa area. She said that due to the continuous snowfall, people are facing difficulties in commuting.
Head of Yari Customs Office Ramraj Jaisi informed that after snowfall in the area of about 5000 meters altitude, the cold has increased in northern Humla. He said that initially it rained but later it turned into snow.
