He left his job in India and started collecting milk on a bicycle
Kanchanpur. Shivcharan Rana of Shuklaphanta Municipality 12 of Kanchanpur, who has been working as a laborer in India, is now earning a good income by selling milk in his own village. Rana, who suffered many hardships while working, left India and returned to his country with a plan to do something in the village itself. Rana, who was once a laborer in India, has now become the owner of a dairy in the village. Rana had to work hard and struggle to become an owner. He started collecting milk on bicycle and selling it since 2068 and has now succeeded in becoming a dairy owner.
Rana started the business with two liters of milk. Now he has been collecting and selling 1,500 liters of milk daily. "I suffered a lot while working in India. I returned to my village and started selling milk on my bicycle," Rana said. With that passion and hard work, he became a successful businessman with good income. After collecting milk from villages, Rana has been selling it in the local Jhalari market, Attaria and Kailali. He hired 6 workers to carry milk by paying a monthly salary of Rs 20,000 to Rs 26,000.
"I started with two liters of milk, gradually more milk started to be collected," he said, "now 1,500 liters of milk is collected." From this business, Rana had also acquired assets worth about Rs. 9 million. Rana said, "I am very happy with this, and now I have also engaged my son in this business."
Recently, many young people are migrating abroad due to lack of employment in the country. But there are also many people who return saying that they should do something in their own land rather than suffering abroad. The success of Rana, who left his job abroad and worked hard in his own village, is tempting. He has now become an exemplary person in the society.
