Govt to elect Chairman of Nepal Insurance Authority
Kathmandu. Balen government's decision to keep someone better than us in the government leadership level has made it difficult to find supporters. Insurance officials are of the opinion that the government, which extended the selection process for a long time after the application for the selection of the chairman of the Securities Board, will repeat the same procedure in the selection process of the chairman of the Insurance Authority.
Even after a month has passed, the recommendation committee that asked for applications on June 13 has not been able to hold a meeting for the selection process of the applicants. According to sources, it is understood that the decision to hold was made by the Prime Minister's Office. It is understood that the personal details of those who have applied have not been looked into.
According to the advertisement made by the committee led by the Vice Chairman of the National Planning Commission, Dr. Gunakar Bhatt, on May 13, 50 people submitted applications.
The application has been put on hold as the committee has to shortlist the applicants and recommend 3 names to the Cabinet after interviewing them.
