Government's relief package: Rasuwa flood victims will get up to 50% advance insurance claim payment
Kathmandu. The government has decided to provide advance payment to the insured affected by the Rasuwa flood based on the preliminary assessment of insurance claims. This arrangement has been made through the 'Rasuwa flood recovery package' announced by the Ministry of Finance on Thursday.
According to the ministry, arrangements will be made to make the assessment of insurance claims for flood damage more effective and faster, so that surveyors can be hired through a simplified process. Similarly, it has been arranged that the insurer will provide up to 50% advance claim payment based on the preliminary assessment report to the insured who claims the flood damage insurance.
