Government instructions to suspend all university examinations from August 13

Kathmandu. Due to continuous natural calamities, the government has instructed to postpone all the university examinations scheduled to be conducted from the 13th of August.

Education and Sports Minister Sasmit Pokharel has issued a letter to the vice-chancellors of all universities using the authority obtained from the Universities Act and instructed them to postpone the exams. According to the ministry, the revised schedule of the postponed exams will be published at an appropriate time after assessing the situation.

Similarly, the universities have been asked to make re-examination arrangements for the candidates who could not participate in the examination conducted on August 12 due to the disaster.Apart from exams, Minister Pokharel has requested to postpone the meetings, conferences, seminars, meetings and group programs which are not essential.
