GenZ Movement Nepal demanded the arrest of not only the then prime minister and home minister but also the accused persons of the security agencies

Aiming at the suppression during the GenZ movement, GenZ Movement Nepal has requested the government to arrest not only the then prime minister and the home minister but also the responsible persons of the involved security agencies and proceed with the process of action. In the press release issued by the organization, it has been mentioned that there should be a fair investigation on all the parties who played a direct role in suppressing the movement, and it has been clarified that none of the guilty should be given immunity. The statement said that according to the spirit of the rule of law, it is mandatory to bring people in responsible positions under the law.

Also, it has been warned that any attempt to protect the oppressor will be strongly countered. "If such conspiracies are carried out, the youth across the country will come out in a stronger and tougher struggle," the organization said.

Similarly, it has been emphasized that the government should be sensitive and responsible to end chaos while maintaining peace and order in the country. The organization also reminded that the main responsibility of the state is to protect the citizens, guarantee their rights and maintain the rule of law. The demand for impartial investigation of the events related to the GenZ movement and action against the culprits has become stronger recently
