Kathmandu. From now on, manpower professionals have to regularly monitor the workers they have sent for foreign employment. They have to regularly monitor the workers sent by them and ensure that services and facilities are not received according to the employment contract.
The Department of Foreign Employment has issued a notification and asked to regularly monitor the condition of Nepali workers working abroad. The department said that due to receiving various complaints from Nepali workers working abroad regarding salary, service-facilities, safe housing and labor rights, a new arrangement has been implemented for the effective protection of workers' rights and safety.
