France beat Paraguay in the quarter-finals of FIFA World Cup 2026
Kathmandu. France has entered the quarter-finals of the FIFA World Cup 2026 after defeating Paraguay. France entered the quarterfinals after defeating Paraguay 1-0 in the Round of 16 match held at the Philadelphia Stadium in America.
Captain Kylian Mbappe scored a penalty in the 70th minute of the game to give France the lead. France were awarded a penalty after Desiree Douy was tackled by a Paraguayan player inside the penalty box.
This is his seventh goal in the ongoing World Cup. He is the top scorer in the ongoing World Cup along with Argentina's Lionel Messi. Now France will play against Morocco for the semi-final entry.
