Former Finance Minister Vishnu Paudel allowed to be detained for three more days
Kathmandu. CPN-UML vice president and former finance minister Bishnu Paudel has been detained by the court for three more days for investigation. The deadline was extended today by the joint bench of judges Narayan Prasad Paudel, Hemant Rawal and Umesh Koirala of the special court for the investigation in the money laundering case.
Paudel was arrested from Surkhet on the 8th of last year in connection with the money laundering investigation. After his arrest, the court extended the investigation process for the first time on the 9th by extending the deadline by 7 days. After the deadline, the police submitted to the court to extend the deadline for re-investigation.
