Foreign Ministry said: Do not go to Iran, those who are there should return immediately

Kathmandu. Keeping in view the latest political and security situation in Iran, the Government of Nepal has issued a travel advisory for its citizens. In the notification released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday, Nepalese citizens who are there are requested not to travel to Iran until the situation normalizes and to return to their country as soon as possible.

According to the ministry, the ongoing protests, violent clashes and uncertain situation in Iran have increased the risk to the safety of foreign citizens. For this reason, Nepali citizens who are in Iran for work or residence have been advised to postpone the new travel plan and to leave the country as soon as possible by any means.
