Five construction companies blacklisted, barred from participating in any public procurement

Kathmandu. The Public Procurement Monitoring Office has blacklisted five construction companies. The office issued a notice today and said that the company has been blacklisted.
According to the written submissions from various agencies, according to subsection 1 of section 63 of the Public Procurement Act, 2063, the construction company has been blacklisted with effect from the date of publication of the notice.
According to the public notice issued by the office, the blacklisted construction company will not be allowed to participate in any procurement process of the public body during the blacklisted period.
