Federation's objection to industrialists' strike and preparation for power cut
Kathmandu. Federation of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has expressed serious concern about the preparations to cut the power lines of the industries within the industrial area run by the Industrial Zone Management Limited and create administrative pressure on the industrialists.
The federation issued a statement on Thursday and said that the business environment will be further affected by the activities targeting around 700 industries operating in 10 industrial areas across the country. The Federation is of the opinion that any step to create pressure on the industrialists is not appropriate, especially when the dispute regarding the increase in land rent in the industrial sector is pending in the court.
