Kathmandu. Chandra Prasad Dhakal, President of Federation of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has said that the Federation is working hard to solve the problems of entrepreneurs, businessmen and the economy. Addressing the opening session of the 16th Annual General Meeting and the 6th Congress of the Nepal Electrical Business Federation, the President of the Federation, Ramchandra Dhakal, said that he is constantly active in solving the problems of entrepreneurs and businessmen.

According to President Dhakal, the federation has been continuously taking initiatives on issues ranging from labor related challenges in the industrial sector to disputes related to dedicated and trunk lines. He said that the federation has been continuously communicating and cooperating with the government on issues such as amending laws, recommendations of the High Level Economic Reforms Suggestion Commission and amending the Black Market Act to create an investment-friendly environment.

Chairman Dhakal expressed his gratitude to the government, noting that the government took seriously the request he made to Prime Minister Sushila Karki and Energy Minister Kulman Ghisingh to resolve the long-standing dedicated and trunk line dispute.

He mentioned that a large amount of domestic and foreign capital is needed to increase production and create jobs in the country and pointed out the need to increase investment in large and multi-dimensional projects by collecting small investment resources. With this aim, Nepal Development Public Limited has been established under the leadership of the federation with the participation of other private sector organizations and their members with a capital of 10 billion rupees.
