Farewell to National Women's Football Team, with Chinese Taipei aiming to beat Indonesia to win the title

Kathmandu. The Nepali National Women's Football Team, which will participate in the friendly tri-national tournament to be held in Indonesia, has been bid farewell. ANFA officials bid farewell to the Nepali National Women's Football Team during a program organized in Kathmandu on Sunday.

From next November 26, a tri-national tournament will be held in Indonesia involving Nepal, the home team and Chinese Taipei. Chief coach Naveen Neupane said that star player Savitra Bhandari could not participate in the tournament due to her injury. He said that even without Savitra, the Nepali team aims to win the title by defeating Indonesia along with Chinese Taipei, which is stronger than them. According to him, the Nepali team is ready to play strongly during the one week training.

Similarly, the goalkeeper of the Nepali National Women's Football Team, Angela Tumbappo Subba, expressed her belief that even if Savitra is not present in the tri-national tournament, the other players will perform well. She said that in the match between Indonesia and Chinese Taipei, everyone's morale is high, so the victory will be in her favor.
