"Expatriate life" was made in the stories of Nepalese migrants.
Kathmandu. The movie 'Pravasi Jeevan', which tells the story of the migrant life of Nepalis who came to the United States of America for their bright future and stability, will be screened across Nepal from February 15.
Directed jointly by Shyam Chhetri and Ram Adhikari, the film stars Ahineta Rajesh Hamal, Sarita Lamichhane, Buddhi Tamang, Mahadev Tripathi, Angela Basnet, Gagan Subedi, Lokesh Bhairakoti, Divya Neupane, Abigail Luhar, Prasu Giri, Shikha Adhikari along with director Chhetri himself. Director Chhetri said that anyone who migrates will find himself or his society in the story of the movie.
He said, "Even though we talk a lot about the physical suffering, we ignore the mental torture that we are experiencing." So we have prepared a movie based on the story of that time and the beautiful future after leaving. The movie depicts an apparently simple and serious problem of migrant life.
Director Chhetri informed that since he has prepared the film by focusing on the issue of mental health problems and solutions, it will be fruitful to understand the lives of migrants closely. Produced by producer Ravin Acharya, who is also a cinematographer, the story, screenplay and dialogues have been prepared by director Chhetri himself. Rasas
