Electricity will be cut in various places of Kathmandu today

Kathmandu. Nepal Electricity Authority is going to cut electricity in various places of Kathmandu today. The Authority has published a notification and said that there will be power cut in Sinamangal Chowk and Tilganga area under the jurisdiction of Baneshwar distribution center. As the pole in front of Tilganga Eye Hospital fell down, the authority said that the transmission line of 11 KV capacity is going to be shut down for proper work.
The Authority has decided to cut power in Tilganga, Prakash Sanyas Ashram, Sambhumarg, Gaushakha and nearby areas from 11 am to 12:30 pm. Likewise, there will be power cuts in Tinkune, Garigaon, Sinamangal and all areas within the airport area from 1 am to 2:30 pm.
The authority has apologized for the inconvenience caused to the customers due to the power cut. Likewise, electricity will be cut at various locations under the Maharajganj distribution center. As part of the Central and North Distribution System Strengthening Project of Kathmandu Valley, the underground distribution system is being worked on and there will be a power cut from 10 am to 2 pm today to complete the work.
According to the authority, there will be power cuts in the areas around Baluwatar, Shivpuri School, Pandol Marg, Prime Minister's residence from 10 am to 3 pm. Similarly, there will be power cut in the areas of Hepali Height, Chasingdol, Deurali Janta, Bhagwati Mandir, Dhapasligayat.
Similarly, the authority said that there will be power cut in Vanshidhar Marg, Chandol, Vishal Nagar, Central Apartments and Tundal Devi Mandir and other areas from 12:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
