Kathmandu. The Nepal Electricity Authority has said that the power supply will be affected in various areas of Kathmandu as they have to remove old relays and install and test new relays at Teku substation. The Lapsiphedi and Changunarayan substation construction project run under the project management directorate of the authority is about to carry out relay retrofit, SAS installation and testing work on the 11 KV panel of Teku substation.

Due to this action, the authority said that electricity service will be interrupted or affected in phases from October 4th in the areas where electricity is supplied from 132 KV Teku substation and supplied from feeders under various distribution centers.
