Elections should not be stopped under any pretext: KP Oli

Kathmandu. Chairman of CPN-UML and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that doubts have increased about the election scheduled for February 21. Oli, who reached his home district Jhapa during the election campaign, expressed this opinion while talking to media persons.
He said that the government should take steps to remove the suspicions. Mentioning that the election should not be stopped under any pretext, he said that serious concern is being expressed at the citizen level as it may be rigged. He said that it is the government's responsibility to resolve such suspicions.
Mentioning that the general public is not confident about peace and security, President Oli suggested the government to ensure that the elections are held in a fair, free and peaceful environment.
