Elections in 67 districts of RSVP, state assembly from May 26
Kathmandu. After completing the Ward and Municipality level elections, the National Independent Party (RASP) has moved ahead with the district and state level election process. According to the Central Election Commission of the party, the district convention and election program is being conducted nationwide today on May 23 and tomorrow on May 24.
According to the press release issued by the Central Election Commission, the district conventions were conducted with the aim of transforming the party into a completely legal and people-approved structure. The head of the Commission, Bhuvan KC, has said that the district conventions are an important step in transforming the party from an ad hoc structure to a fully legal and popularly approved structure. He expressed his belief that the leadership will be selected through a clean and fair election process and informed that a 3-member election committee has been mobilized in each district and a 5-member election committee in the province.
