Election excitement among new voters
Baitadi It has been found that the number of people who have registered their names in the voter list with photos for the next House of Representatives election to be held on February 21 in Baitadi is encouraging. Ratan Chand, Computer Operator of the District Election Office informed that since the collection and updating of the list started on the 9th of last October, more than 600 names have been registered so far. According to him, so far 618 people have been registered in the list. In which there are 201 women and 417 men.
Similarly, the names of two women and seven men from the outer districts have also been registered, said Purushottam Joshi, Acting Head of the District Election Office. Earlier, there are statistics of 1 lakh 61 thousand 312 people registered here. Among them, 82 thousand 126 are men, 79 thousand 184 are women and two are transgender.
