Egypt took action, demanding the removal of the referee of the match against Argentina from the World Cup!

Kathmandu. After losing 3-2 to former champions Argentina in the pre-quarterfinals of the World Cup 2026, the Egyptian Football Association has taken aggressive action.

Egypt has emanded strict action against the entire referee team involved in the match, saying that the controversial decision of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) overturned the result inside the field. Egypt has demanded that the refereeing team be immediately removed from the tournament without being allowed to officiate any of the remaining World Cup matches.
