Effect of Monsoon air across the country: Chance of rain in many places of hilly areas and heavy rain in some states

Kathmandu. At present, the influence of Monsoon air is present across the country. According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, the monsoon low pressure line is located around Sardar place in the eastern part of Nepal and north of Sardar place in the western part.
This morning, it is generally cloudy in Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, while it is partly cloudy in Terai areas of Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces. Some places of Bagmati province and few places of Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali provinces are receiving light to moderate rains.
