Earthquake centered around Rayal in Bajhang
Kathmandu. The epicenter of the earthquake was around Rayal in Bajhang district. According to the National Earthquake Measurement and Research Center Lanchaur, an earthquake of magnitude 4.1 took place today at 1:14 PM with its epicenter near Rayal in Bajhang.
Earlier on March 3, an earthquake of magnitude 4 took place near Sitaula in Darchula. As Nepal is a Himalayan region, small earthquakes occur at different times.
