Kathmandu. Various major highways and road sections of the country have been affected due to floods, landslides and river erosion that have come with continuous rain. According to the latest information released by the Nepal Police, some roads are completely blocked, while in some places, traffic has been stopped for a certain period of time.

According to the police, in view of the possible flood risk, all types of vehicles have been banned from 6 pm to 4 am on the Khurkot-Nepalthok-Katunjebensi road section under the BP highway connecting Kavrepalanchok-Sindhuli. It has been requested not to operate vehicles on this road section at night during the rainy season.
